Welcome to Jessicas Sweets Online  terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply to the use of Jessicas Sweets Online  operated by Jessicas Sweets Hereford Limited and the selling of products to you subject to the conditions set out below.

Please take a moment to have a look at the following terms and conditions on the sale to ensure that you are happy with the service we provide. Please note that any person using and ordering from our website are deemed to understand and accept our terms and conditions.

Delivery of Products
Our aim at Jessicas Sweets Online  is to get your sweets to your door as soon as is possible in the best manner possible. All orders are sent out within 48 hours, (usually within 24 hours) of receipt by the quickest and cheapest postal method and should arrive to you within 2-3 working days from date of postage but cannot guarantee this during busy periods and seasonal fluctuations. Please note orders placed after midnight on Friday will be posted after the weekend, due to postal services not working weekends.

Jessicas Sweets Online  only sends out the best quality products to their customers that are well within their best before date. However we cannot accept responsibility for deterioration caused by climatic conditions or transportation once the goods have left our premises.

We will deliver the products ordered by you to the delivery address provided. It is however your responsibility to provide us with accurate delivery information as we will not check or verify addresses and messages supplied by you.

If you request for a courier to leave your parcel in a ‘safe place’ upon delivery, the customer is then accepting responsibility and any risk for that parcel, in the event the parcel is stolen or damaged Jessica’s will not accept responsibility for the parcel.

We stock a huge range of sweets from many different manufacturers. This means we cannot guarantee that our products are free of nuts or nut traces.

Damaged Goods:
If your order is delivered to you damaged, please contact us immediately in writing by using our contact us form along with photographic evidence,we will request any damaged items to be returned to us, please do not discard of any damaged goods, we will not be able to resolve issues if items have been discarded. We will refund you once the damaged items have been received back by us. You will be refunded with the same method that you paid. This can be debit/credit card, PayPal,Clearpay or Klarna.

In line with our environmental commitments, we will choose the most minimal packaging to send your order without compromising presentation or affecting the quality of the sweets.

Delivery Methods & Timescales:
We send all our parcels with a courier company which they aim to deliver within 2-3 working days. If you require a parcel urgently, please contact us by email or phone or our facebook page and we will endeavor to fulfill your order subject to timescales (please note extra postage may be required).

If you live in the Scottish Islands & Highlands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Sicily Isles or the Isle of Man, we do not offer any courier service. Instead we offer 1st and 2nd Class Royal Mail. Please note that parcels to these areas may take longer than Royal Mails recommended timescale.

Whilst items sent by Royal Mail usually arrive after 3 working days of dispatch from us, Royal Mail states that only items still not delivered after 15 working days can be officially classified as lost. If the products are not delivered within the estimated delivery time, please contact us.

We cannot guarantee a specific delivery timescale unless you get in contact with us.

International Shipping
We only deliver within the united kingdom and do not deliver internationally.
If the products you receive are not what you ordered, defective or the incorrect quantity, please contact us and will then correct your order.

For example:

Make good any shortage or non-delivery
Supply and deliver substitute goods
Replace any defective goods
Refund or do a partial refund at our own discretion
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused through postage such as climatic conditions affecting the product. We make sure that all items are in perfect condition before they are sent to you. If your parcel does arrive in a poor condition, please contact us.

We will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill). We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the products in question.

Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this store meet your specific requirements.

Events beyond our control: we shall have no liability for any failure to deliver products you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to products delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control. This includes without limitation to, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.

Allergy Advice & Ingredients
All customers should be aware that unfortunately all of the sweets offered on the store are manufactured and packaged in environments where nuts may be present and therefore Jessicas Sweets Online  cannot guarantee that any sweets supplied are free of nuts and nut traces.

We try our best to provide ingredients information on all of our sweets however on some occasions we may not include this information. If you require ingredients on any specific items, then please send a request to us. Please note that ingredients provided are those from manufacturers’ packaging and lists, and cannot be held responsible for their content. Jessicas Sweets Online  reserves the right to use alternative manufacturers for all sweets on offer and therefore cannot guarantee that the ingredients listed will match exactly those sent previously. Jessicas Sweets Online only sources the highest quality sweets to provide you with the best tasting treats.

Out of Stock Items
Jessicas Sweets Online  work with a large number of traditional UK confectionery suppliers to ensure that we can provide the quality, value and range everybody wants. There are times an item or two will be unavailable should this situation occur we will contact you to confirm when the item will be restocked and sent out/or offer a substitute for something similar. If no similar item to the particular sweet can be found then we will contact you and ask if you would like the rest of your order dispatched and the missing item(s) sent once in stock (at no extra postage costs), or if you would like us to hold back your order until everything is ready.

Jessicas Sweets Online  may also choose to cancel any sale and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its discretion. If an order is cancelled, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Pricing Policy
Our mission at Jessicas Sweets Online  is to offer the high quality sweets online at a great price. Due to the nature of the raw ingredients of sweets these prices may fluctuate. This is a rare occurrence and wherever possible Jessicas Sweets Online  aims to keep prices to the best value possible.

The price for each product is shown on Jessicas Sweets Online  and includes VAT 20% (if applicable)

Payment can be made via Paypal or Stripe.

Returns Policy

Clearpay:

Any customers hoping to cancel an order, that has purchased through clearpay, will be refunded in full if the order has not left our premises minus the 6% charge clearpay deduct from Jessica’s once a transaction has been processed.

Klarna:

Any customers hoping to cancel an order, that has purchased through Klarna, will be refunded in full if the order has not left our premises minus the 5% charge Klarna deduct from Jessica’s once a transaction has been processed.

At Jessicas Sweets Online  we offer a comprehensive returns policy and therefore in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with the items, please follow the returns procedure below, failure to do so may result in us being unable to exchange goods or provide refunds.

Please be aware that Jessicas Sweets Online  cannot be held responsible and hence provide refunds/exchanges on stock affected by circumstances beyond our control. This includes damage and neglect after goods are received, goods being stored in climatic conditions such as extremes of temperature that can affect some items and damage by third parties – however we will seek to get apologies and compensation.

In addition please be aware that during particularly hot spells of weather goods in transit can be affected by extreme heat so please be aware items of a delicate nature such as chocolate may not always look as pictured, but they will still taste the same.

Returns Procedure
Jessicas Sweets Online  should be notified within 48 hours of receipt of your order of any part that is unsatisfactory via our email,phone number or our facebook messaging quoting your order reference and name.

Step 1. Once we have responded to your message goods must be returned within 14 days by recorded delivery. Note – if Jessicas Sweets Online  are at fault we will of course also refund your postage costs immediately.

Step 2. Goods returned should be in their original condition and packaging in which they arrived.

Step 3. Once received items will be checked and refunds on goods and postage arranged where suitable. Due the perishable nature of goods on sale Jessicas Sweets Online  cannot issue refunds on simply unwanted good and must not be opened. Refunds/exchanges will only be offered on items that are faulty, and were clearly so at the time at which they were dispatched.

Jessicas Sweets Online  will only except goods for return and refund/exchange if supplied by us and will only refund the costs of fair return postage and original sale price of goods. No additional compensation will be available on goods returned other than that already stated, as Jessicas Sweets Online  are not responsible for any costs or losses incurred after costs of goods and returned postage.

Jessicas Sweets Online  always strive to be fair and just when dealing with genuine issues our customers may face.

Jessicas Sweets Online  does not give you any right or interest in any copyright or intellectual property rights in any product nor the right to copy them.

Jessicas Sweets Online  does not manufacture products. Where we state information as to the contents of the sweets (e.g. whether they contain sugar, gluten or gelatine) we reproduce wherever possible the information provided by the manufacturer and therefore are unable to guarantee the accuracy of this information.

These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Jessicas Sweets Online  excludes liability for any loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising, including without limitation any direct, indirect or consequential loss whether or not such arises out of any problem you notify to Jessicas Sweets Online  and Jessicas Sweets Hereford Limited shall have no liability to pay any money by way of compensation, including without limitation all liability in relation to:

Any incorrect or inaccurate information on Jessicas Sweets Online ;
Any interruptions to or delays in updating Jessicas Sweets Online ;
The infringement by any person of any Intellectual Property Rights of any third party caused by their use of Jessicas Sweets Online  or any product purchased through Jessicas Sweets Online ; IP fraud prevention i.e. we check card details with our credit agency and reserve the right to refuse orders on that basis

These Pay later terms apply between you (who are at least 18 years old) and this store where you purchase your goods, tickets, or services when you choose Pay later as your payment method. 

When you choose Pay later, which is a form of credit, we offer you the possibility to pay  on a due date 30 days from the shipment of the goods or tickets/availability date of the services or digital content. We assign our claim for payment due on your purchase to Klarna Bank AB (“Klarna”). Klarna will send you a payment instruction to pay directly to Klarna. COSTS AND FAILURE TO PAY

We charge an invoice fee of 0 (£) per purchase. Pay later is a form of credit. It is important that you complete your payment for your purchase no later than on the communicated due date. If you fail to pay on time, you will be in default, and may be unable to use Klarna’s services in the future. If you do not pay for your purchase, Klarna may engage with an external debt collection agency to collect on our behalf.

If you choose Pay later, Klarna will assess your creditworthiness. We may carry out a limited credit search on you at a credit reference agency.
